Jane qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Kings College Dental School, London, in 1990 and took her first few jobs in general practice in Oxfordshire. After a brief (but enjoyable!) time she moved down the A420 to Swindon – and has been here ever since!
Jane has a keen interest in treating children, and in 2006 she was awarded a Diploma in Post-Graduate Dental Studies from the University of Bristol with a focus on children’s dentistry and orthodontics. She spreads her time between general practice and the University of Bristol, where she is an honorary teaching fellow helping to educate dental students. For over 10 years, she has successfully mentored newly qualified dentists too. Other interests include helping anxious patients to become more comfortable visiting the dentist.
Aside from work Jane enjoys spending time with her family, long walks with the dogs and singing (out of pitch) in a local choir.
